Established in 2024, Battle Goat Outdoors is a family-owned business born from a desire for high-quality apparel that reflects our passion for the outdoors and honors our mascot, Feta: the original Battle Goat. We have since grown beyond patriotic and humorous gear for military and first responders to offer premium Kydex holsters, magazine pouches, and custom-made equipment. Committed to excellence and American craftsmanship, we provide comprehensive firearms safety courses and specialized tactical training. As we look toward the future, we are expanding into firearm manufacturing. Holding a Federal Firearms License, we are dedicated to equipping our community with reliable gear and expert knowledge.
Meet the Owner:
Sean O'Keefe is the owner, operator, and lead instructor at Battle Goat Outdoors. Drawing from a career in the United States Air Force, with two combat deployments, and as a Law Enforcement officer, O'Keefe brings a wealth of hands-on expertise in firearms operation and maintenance. His lifelong dedication to the craft inspired him to build a company focused on empowering others through safety and technical proficiency. O'Keefe's credentials include certifications as an FBI Firearms Instructor, DCJS Firearms, DCJS Sniper, DCJS RBT Instructor, NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, and USAF Combat Arms Instructor. A graduate of the Sonoran Desert Institute with a degree in Firearms Science and Technology, he proudly holds a Federal Firearms License in NYS, ensuring every student and customer receives expert, professional guidance grounded in real-world experience.
